A Soft Place to Land Coaching for Parents of Autistic Children 1–5 Years

Are You Here Because…

You’ve just heard the autism diagnosis. Or maybe you’re still waiting, still wondering. You left the doctor’s office with a stack of brochures, a list of acronyms you don’t recognize, and a heart full of questions and emotions, while your eyes scan the future, trying to imagine what it will look like now.

You’re not alone. And you’re not late.

If you’re searching for calm in the storm of early intervention, you’re in the right place.

I See You

I specialize in working with young children—ages 1 to 5—during the earliest, most dynamic years of brain development. This window is full of possibility, and I’ve walked beside many families taking their very first steps on this journey.

I’ve seen the parents driving to therapy, wishing they were heading to a park or playgroup instead—something familiar, something simple. I’ve seen the quiet ache in the backseat, lined with chewies and iPads and weighted lap pads, while a mom wonders if her child will ever say “Mama.”

I’ve seen the beauty of a single word celebrated like a symphony. Siblings gently explaining their brother’s world to curious strangers. Parents bracing themselves in the grocery aisle during a meltdown, trying to hold their ground, their child, and their dignity—all at once.

I’ve read and written the reports that say “delayed,” while sitting across from parents whose children are bursting with potential. And I’ve witnessed victories—tiny and massive—that no assessment score will ever measure.

This work is personal.

Why I Believe in the Power of Belonging , Not Just Becoming

I don’t believe in “fixing” children or training them out of who they are. I believe in relationships that begin with presence, not pressure. Coaching and therapy, to me, are powerful paths to connection—where trust is built, understanding deepens, and growth flows from safety.

Coaching with me isn’t about scripts. It’s about helping you reconnect with your voice as a parent. Together, we’ll explore how to listen with curiosity, respond with care, and hold boundaries with love. This work isn’t just about helping your child regulate—it’s about helping you feel grounded in your values and leadership.

Autistic children thrive in relationships where their uniqueness is honored, not overwritten. They need safety, joy, and attunement—not compliance. And you deserve support that centers your dignity, too.

When you pause to reflect on how you parent—your responses under stress, your quiet hopes, dark fears, and  your deep values—you begin to grow into the guide your child most needs. That’s the journey I support.

Because meaningful change doesn’t come from pushing harder. It comes from slowing down enough to truly connect.

How We'll Work Together?

Blending Evidence with Empathy

Rooted in Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI), my work blends evidence with empathy. I’m a certified practitioner of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a relationship-based, play-centered model that fosters connection and communication.

My foundation is in applied behavior analysis principles—but my practice is attuned, flexible, and deeply relational, one that values neurodiversity and emphasizes meaningful, back-and-forth interactions between you and your child. I see ABA not as a protocol to enforce, but as a craft to embody. It’s a living, relational practice built on honoring the context, fusing it with curiosity, attunement, and trust. A way to meet each family where they are, with curiosity and trust.

My first clients are nearing 30 now. I’ve walked through many seasons. And I’ve learned this: I don’t rush to fix. I pause to understand.

This work is not about masking autism. It’s about listening, adapting, and finding your rhythm again as a family. It’s about learning your child’s unique language—spoken or unspoken—and walking with them, not ahead of them.

We might be a good fit if:

If that resonates, you’ve found your soft place to land.

The Coaching Little Seeds Program for Parents

A parent-centered support model for children ages 1–5

Grounded in the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)

Delivered through virtual sessions

This isn’t therapy delivered to your child—it’s coaching that equips you. It’s not a substitute for 1:1 therapy, but it can serve as an early foundation or complement to formal services. It’s about giving you the tools to walk beside your child—confidently, calmly, and with clarity.

Phase 1: Build Your Foundation (Weeks 1–12)

This initial 3-month phase is dedicated to cultivating strong connections, building parental confidence, and developing essential skills through gentle, parent-led strategies. You will learn to effectively support communication, play, and emotional regulation within everyday routines, all without added pressure. The goal is to establish a robust, flexible foundation seamlessly integrated into your family’s real life.

  • 16 weekly 90-minute virtual parent coaching sessions
  • Personalized tools and visual resources for daily application
  • Detailed written reflections and constructive video feedback
  • Emphasis on modeling effective strategies, not high-volume therapy

You’ll walk away with:

  • At least 3 practical strategies that fit into your routine
  • Two new connection-based rituals (like playtime or meals)
  • Early signs of progress in communication and daily life skills
  • More confidence in how to respond during tricky moments

Phase 2: Integrate & Sustain (Months 4–6)

This subsequent 3-month phase provides consistent, lower-intensity support, empowering you to confidently apply all you’ve learned. You will continue to build upon your progress, with ample opportunity to reflect, adapt, and foster ongoing growth. The focus remains on maintaining positive momentum without burnout, ensuring new habits become deeply ingrained long after our coaching concludes.

  • 3 monthly 90-minute virtual parent check-in sessions
  • Continued access to your child’s individualized learning plan
  • Strategic reviews and practical troubleshooting support
  • Optional collaboration with other relevant providers as needed

By the end, you’ll:

  • Use strategies with ease and confidence
  • Notice your child generalizing skills in real life
  • Feel clearer and calmer in your role
  • Have a plan—and a partner—you can count on

The Model Is:

  • Virtual: Flexible and accessible from anywhere
  • Relational: Centered around your child’s joy and your voice
  • Skill-Building: Practical tools for emotional and developmental growth
  • Low-Pressure, High-Impact: Steady, realistic progress
  • Time-Bound: 3 months of focused support + 3 months of follow-up
  • Evidence-Based: Grounded in research, not routines
  • Efficient: Designed to work in the real world—not around it

Why This Matters

Many families spend thousands each month on high-volume therapy and still feel uncertain at home. They outsource the very skills they need most to therapists who rotate in and out.

This program is not about outsourcing your child’s progress—it’s about empowering you to walk the journey with them. Because when you grow in confidence and connection, your investment doesn’t end with a session—it grows alongside your child, every day.

And because sometimes, it’s not more hours, but the right support—offered at the right time, in the right way—that makes the deepest impact. Low-dosage doesn’t mean low impact. It means learning to recognize the power in everyday moments, and knowing how to use them with presence and purpose.

The most powerful therapy can happen in clinics, yes—but it can also unfold in living rooms, bath times, and grocery store aisles. It happens when relationships lead the way.

The Christmas Cards I Still Keep

Unsolicited. Unscripted. Unforgettable.

These aren’t testimonials! They’re moments—tucked inside envelopes, scribbled in holiday cards, sent when no one was watching.

Words that arrived without being requested, but landed in my heart with lasting weight. Each one a quiet echo of trust, of transformation, of the tender work we shared. Each one a reminder of why I do what I do.
